When the ground shifts, we need more than reassurance.

A room filled with water looks out through gauzy curtains to a canyon and a cloud-dotted blue sky.

Your life is upended, and your old ways of functioning can’t keep up.

You need compassionate support that goes beyond the emotional, to help you through this new terrain.

I’ve got you.

If you’re going through serious illness, dying, or grief, or preparing for end-of-life, and you need space to take care of what matters most.

If something big is shifting in your life, and you want to reclaim your agency and go forward with intention.

Hi, I’m Tal.

Tal smiles gently at the camera: they are a white person with square-ish glasses and short, wavy light brown hair, wearing a black shirt decorated with stars and moons.

(they/them/theirs)

I know what it’s like to have the ground shift under you, and not just because I live in earthquake country.

I’ve felt the tenderness of grief, conflict, and transformation first hand. I became an end-of-life doula, mediator, and coach to walk with people through these threshold moments, when we all deserve support to hold what’s hardest.

My approach is shaped by lived experience, formal training, and years of work in leadership, program management, and organizational change. I care about helping people make a path through hard things without rushing them past what is real. I bring calm, compassion, discernment, and practical follow-through to moments that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

My practice is multifaceted.

Relational and practical

You don’t have to choose between feeling supported and getting things done.

I listen empathetically for what matters most, help people speak what has been hard to say, and can translate needs into conversations, documents, and actionable plans.

Fluent in complexity

You don’t have to pretend things are simple or harmonious for us to work together.

I’m comfortable working with conflict, team and family dynamics, and long stories underneath the surface.

Systems-literate

We don’t arrive in crisis as blank slates. Our history, culture, and the institutions around us all matter.

Those systems don’t have to run the show. I can help you name them, figure out what counts, and feel empowered to make your own choices.

At home in the liminal

I don’t need things to be clear or decided to sit with you and help you find your way.

If something here resonates, I’d love to hear from you.

You don’t have to know what you need yet.

Just reach out, and we can explore it together.
